Coaching for money, ideas and
real-life confidence

A supportive space for young people to talk things through, understand their habits, explore possibilities and take practical next steps, without pressure or judgement.

For parents and carers: Flaem offers structured, age-appropriate coaching that helps young people build healthier money habits, stronger decision-making skills and confidence in their own choices.

Stories can start the conversation. Coaching makes it personal.

Flaem’s stories, tools and challenges help young people explore money, habits, choices and ideas. Coaching gives them dedicated space to connect those themes to their own life, talk things through without judgement and decide what they want to try next.

Space to reflect

Notice habits, feelings, patterns or choices that may be difficult to see when everything is moving quickly.

Room to Explore

Talk through questions, goals, ideas and different possibilities without being pushed towards one “right” answer.

Support to move forward

Choose a practical next step, try it in real life and learn from what happens.

Choose the support that fits

Some young people prefer learning alongside others. Some want dedicated space to think things through. Sometimes the most useful conversation is one the family has together.

Flaem offers three coaching formats. You do not need to decide which one is right before the free chat.

AGE 10-19

Group Coaching

Learn with others in a small, guided cohort. Over four weeks, with one session each week, young people explore habits, choices, goals and ideas together, with space for everyone to contribute.

Cohort size: 2–4 young people

Price: £295 per young person

AGE 13-19

One-to-one Coaching

Dedicated space to talk through money habits, choices, goals or ideas, then turn reflection into practical next steps at the young person’s own pace.

Session length: 60 minutes

Price: £175 per session

AGE 7-19

Family Coaching

Structured space for young people and parents or carers to understand each other’s perspectives and have calmer, more useful conversations about money, choices and support.

Session length: up to 90 minutes.

Price: £300 for up to two people.

Start with a free 20-minute chat

Coaching begins with a relaxed conversation. We will talk about the support you are looking for, answer any questions and consider which coaching option may be the best fit.

There is no pressure to continue, and you do not need to have everything figured out before the conversation.

For young people under 18, a parent or carer should be involved in arranging the chat and may join part or all of it, depending on the young person’s age and the coaching format.

THE SPARK FRAMEWORK

A flexible way to move from reflection to action

Flaem coaching uses the SPARK Framework to help guide the conversation. It gives each session shape while leaving room to follow what matters most to the young person.

S

Set the direction

What would be useful to focus on today?

P

Picture the possibility

What would you like to be different?

A

Assess where things are

What is happening now?

R

Reframe and resource

What could help you see this differently or move forward?

K

Kickstart action

What small next step would you like to try?

SPARK is a flexible guide, not a fixed checklist. A conversation may move between stages or spend longer wherever the young person needs it to.

What could you bring to coaching?

There is no fixed list and you do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed goal. Coaching can make space for questions, habits, choices or ideas that matter in your life.

Money habits and everyday choices

Spending, saving, managing income, noticing patterns and making choices that feel more intentional.

Goals, decisions and next steps

Working out what matters, comparing options, building useful routines and following through on a plan.

Ideas, projects and earning

Exploring a creative idea, shaping a side project, thinking through what it may need and deciding what to try first.

Family Conversations

Talking about money, expectations, independence, responsibility and support in a calmer, more constructive way.

These are examples, not a checklist. The free chat can help you work out where you would like to begin.

From enquiry to first session

You will not be asked to choose or pay for coaching before we have talked things through. Getting started begins with a conversation.

1

Send an enquiry

Tell us a little about the young person, the support you are looking for and the coaching format you are considering. It is fine if you are not sure yet.

2

Have a free 20-minute chat

We will answer questions, hear what you are hoping for and explore whether Flaem coaching feels like the right fit.

3

Agree to the next step

Together, we will consider whether one-to-one, family or group coaching would be most useful. If coaching is not the right fit, we will be open about that too.

4

Confirm the sessions

Once the right option has been agreed, we will confirm the practical details and send a payment link or invoice. Coaching is booked once payment has been received.

Sending an enquiry does not commit you to coaching.

For parents and carers

Flaem coaching gives young people space to think for themselves, while giving parents and carers a clear understanding of how the process works. Sessions are educational, developmental and shaped around

the young person’s age, goals and circumstances. Coaching is not financial advice, therapy or a

replacement for specialist support.

Age-appropriate and youth-centred

Questions, tools and activities are adapted to the young person. They are encouraged to think, choose and take part, rather than being told what to do.

Clear consent and boundaries

For anyone under 18, a parent or carer is involved in the initial enquiry and provides consent before coaching begins. We agree how everyone will be involved and what the coaching space will look like.

Privacy with safeguarding in mind

A young person’s coaching conversation is treated with respect. Before sessions begin, we explain what can remain private and when information may need to be shared because of a safety or safeguarding concern.

Qualified and responsibly delivered

Flaem coaching is led by a certified financial coach who is DBS checked. The process, prices and practical arrangements are explained before any paid coaching is confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

Still working out whether coaching might be right? Here are some of the practical things young people, parents and carers often want to know.

Ready to talk it through?
