Community Guidelines
Last updated: October, 2025
1. Our Shared Promise
At Flaem, our mission is to make learning about money, enterprise, and creativity an adventure. Whether you’re joining a coaching session, commenting on a story, or taking part in an event, these guidelines help everyone feel safe, supported, and inspired.
By participating in any Flaem space—online or in person—you agree to follow these guidelines and uphold the values that make our community shine.
2. Our Core Values
At the heart of Flaem are four values that guide how we learn, share, and grow together:
Adventure in Learning:
-
The best lessons feel like an adventure. Through games, stories, and challenges, we make financial and enterprise skills exciting to explore.
Own Your Journey:
-
Every path is unique. We celebrate individuality and empower young people to take charge of their own goals and dreams.
Create Bravely:
-
Big ideas deserve bold action. We encourage every learner to think creatively, act with courage, and bring their ideas to life.
Empower Community:
-
We rise by lifting others. Together, we use our skills and resources wisely to build stronger futures for ourselves and those around us.
These values shape everything we do—from how we speak to each other to how we learn and play as part of the Flaem adventure.
3. Be Kind and Respectful
We’re all here to learn and grow. That only works when everyone feels valued and heard.
Please:
-
Treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.
-
Listen with an open mind and celebrate different opinions.
-
Use positive and inclusive language.
-
Keep comments friendly and constructive—never mean or mocking.
Not allowed:
-
Bullying, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
-
Swearing, rude jokes, or inappropriate messages.
-
Sharing or posting harmful, explicit, or unsafe content.
4. Stay Safe and Smart
Your safety matters most.
Here’s how we keep the adventure secure:
-
Protect your privacy: Never post or share your full name, address, phone number, passwords, or school online.
-
Parents and guardians: For children under 13, all accounts and sign-ups must be managed by a responsible adult.
-
Speak up: If something feels uncomfortable or unsafe, tell a trusted adult or contact us at hello@flaem.co.uk.
-
In-person sessions or events: Respect the space, follow the coach’s guidance, and behave responsibly toward others.
5. Learn with Integrity
Flaem celebrates curiosity and independent thinking.
That means:
-
Be honest about what you know and where your ideas come from.
-
Give credit when you’re inspired by someone else’s work.
-
Don’t use Flaem spaces for spam, advertising, or unrelated promotions.
-
Keep the conversation focused on learning, creativity, and positive exploration.
6. Create and Collaborate Positively
Our community grows stronger when we share ideas respectfully:
-
Support others’ creativity and celebrate progress.
-
Offer helpful feedback, not harsh criticism.
-
Encourage collaboration and celebrate the successes of others.
-
Be brave enough to share your own journey — it might inspire someone else.
7. Enforcement & Consequences
Flaem takes community safety seriously. If someone breaks these guidelines:
-
Minor issues may receive a friendly reminder or written warning.
-
Repeated or serious issues (e.g. bullying, harassment, or inappropriate conduct) can lead to suspension or permanent removal from our online spaces or events.
-
Illegal activity or safeguarding concerns will always be reported to the proper authorities.
Flaem reserves the right to remove users, content, or access that violates these guidelines.
8. Reporting Concerns
If you see or experience something that doesn’t feel right:
📩 Email: hello@flaem.co.uk
We will review all reports seriously and confidentially, following our Safeguarding Policy and Privacy Policy.
9. Together We Empower the Adventure
When we act with kindness, curiosity, and courage, we help each other learn more and do better. These guidelines are here so every young person and adult can enjoy Flaem safely and confidently — learning skills that last a lifetime.
